Kristy is a nutrition assistant you talk to in a chat. To do that well, Kristy keeps track of what you tell it. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, and what we do — and don't do — with it.
We only collect what's needed to run the service:
This information exists for one purpose: to provide the personalized nutrition service. Kristy uses your history, goals, and trends to give specific, relevant guidance instead of generic advice. We do not use your data to build advertising profiles.
Your data is stored using Supabase, a third-party database and authentication provider, on our behalf. Your meal logs, chat messages, and other content are scoped to your account. To generate responses, the content of your messages (and food photos you send) is processed by our AI provider to produce Kristy's replies.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties, and we don't share it with third parties except the service providers we rely on to operate Kristy (such as our database, hosting, and AI providers described above), or where required by law.
You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time. For now, email us at hello@kristy.app and we'll remove it. We'll build a one-tap deletion control into the app as it matures.
Kristy provides general nutrition guidance and is not a licensed dietitian, doctor, or medical provider. It does not diagnose, treat, or provide medical advice. The information Kristy gives is for general informational purposes only. Talk to a qualified healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet, especially if you have any health condition or concern.
Kristy is in early access and evolving. If we make meaningful changes to how we handle your data, we'll update this page and revise the date above.
